Greenfilm, sponsored by the UK Film Council, aims to help professionals working in every part of the film industry – studios, locations, distribution, exhibition, special effects, post-production and archives – to reduce their carbon footprint, save money and make sure they’re not caught unawares by new environmental legislation.

Greenfilm is a resource for the whole industry to reduce its environmental impact. If you have information or ideas you think may benefit others in the industry, share them with us.

In addition to its sponsorship of Greenfilm, the UK Film Council is working with a wide range of industry bodies, and with partners in many parts of the UK, to develop practical policies and guidelines to help the industry change and adapt the way it works in the light of climate change.
